Lent Course & Bible Study

We are pleased to share details of this year’s Lent Bible studies for 2026. There are two different studies running this year, and everyone is very welcome to attend any of the sessions.
1. Casablanca – A Lent Film & Bible Study
This Lent we will be using the film Casablanca as the starting point for our study. The film will be shown at the following times and venues:
Wednesday 18th February at 10.00am – St John’s Church, Orwell Road
Sunday 22nd February at 4.00pm – Maidstone Road Baptist Church
Following the film showings, weekly Bible study groups will begin in the week starting 23rd February:
Tuesday 24th February at 2.00pm – St Peter & St Paul’s Church, Church Road, Old Felixstowe
Wednesday 25th February at 10.00am – St John’s Church, Orwell Road, Felixstowe
Sunday 1st March at 4.00pm – Maidstone Road Baptist Church, Walton, Felixstowe
2. Women of Holy Week – Bible Study at Evolve Café
There is also a Lent study taking place at Evolve Café, Hamilton Road, entitled Women of Holy Week. This is based on nine reflections on Holy Week through women’s eyes by Paula Gooder.
It begins on Thursday 19th February 2026.
Please arrive from 3.30pm for coffee and cake, with the study starting at 4.00pm.
Again, all are very welcome to join.
